On 9th June, the cyclists will set off from Frontenex and race up to La Rosière. The route is identical to the 11th stage of the 2018 Tour de France, which will be held a month later (Wednesday 18th July), apart from the start being in Frontenex.
Spectators are in for a real treat as they watch the cyclists pedal up the winding mountain roads, a sight that is sure to delight cycling and photography fans alike!

A DRESS REHEARSAL FOR THE TOUR DE FRANCE
In the sixth stage of the race, the cyclists will set off from Frontenex and pass through Beaufort, the Cormet de Roselend and Bourg Saint Maurice. They will then tackle the 20-kilometre climb (1,000m ascent) up to La Rosière.
It is a relatively short stage, covering just 110 kilometres, but includes two “hors catégorie” mountain passes, the most difficult type of climb (Montée de Bisanne, Col du Pré). As the penultimate stage of the race, it is guaranteed to be spectacular !
